Each year, Women Helping Women dedicates time to a philanthropic cause, reinforcing for Second Step Housing residents that everyone can give back no matter what their situation.  Recently, twenty mentees, residents, mentors, and volunteers got together at The Giving Closet in Vancouver to sort, hang, and arrange clothes for display.  The Giving Closet is a charitable organization that provides free clothing for people in need.  Since opening its doors in 2000, the Giving Closet has served more than 4,200 families in the Vancouver area.

This event was hosted by Bobbi Bellomy and Kim Holston.  Much was accomplished in a few hours and everyone had a fun time working together to help support this wonderful community-based organization.
