A new coat of paint brings many smiles

Earlier this summer, 19 volunteers from Serve with Liberty spent five days adding color and life to four of our transitional housing properties. Residents were thrilled to have newly painted rooms, transforming their house into homes they love coming “home” to. But don’t take our world for it, read what some of our very happy residents had to say:

“I am so grateful for your gift of time and the beautiful finished product of our freshly painted home. Going from homelessness to a stable living place is such a blessing as it is, but having volunteers give their time to make my home even better is amazing! I appreciate all of your hard work”

“Thank you so much for coming to our house and painting. It looks absolutely beautiful! I love the feeling of it! Thank you all so much.”

“Thank you! Our home looks incredible. The paint job makes us feel very much at home. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!”

Thank you to all the volunteers from Serve with Liberty who graciously gave their time and expertise to Second Step Housing!

Giving back. Thank you!
