Train for Run Like a Girl

Less than 8 weeks till the 3rd Annual Run Like a Girl 10k & 5k. Get ready by taking part in one or both of our training opportunities. Fun and Free! Run Like a Girl 10k & 5k will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Fort Vancouver.

Strength Training
Victor Fitness is offering gym access for strength training to Second Step Housing clients and registered 2014 Run Like a Girl participants. Participants will receive assistance with machine use and suggested exercises. One hour of gym use! Sessions are twice a week for one hour per session and will run until the week of event day. Limit of 10 persons per session.

Sessions:
Tuesday & Thursday: 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Wednesday & Friday: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Walk/Run Training
Runners, walkers, all levels – Take part in a supportive training group to prepare for Run Like a Girl 10k & 5k. Join us on Monday evenings at 5:15 pm to 6:00 pm at Hudsons Bay Track located at the corner of E McLoughlin Blvd and Fort Vancouver Way.
